Freeport Intermediate School identified students who needed extra help and support for learning by providing daily Team Time for flexible grouping and by modifying their school schedule to include daily time for math and English.
Some teachers might have concerns that their personal style of assessing has been taken away. By requiring departments to devise common assessments one at a time, insures a step to promoting this instructional strategy.
